Members of the Aggie Band are also members of the Corps of Cadets. Aggie bandsmen train, live, eat and are housed together as a unit of the corps. Since the Aggie Band is one of the most representative units of the Corps of Cadets as well as Texas A&M University, bandsmen hold theirselves to a higher standard in discipline, drill, and attention to detail in their uniform and in everything that they do.

You will make life lasting friendships with your "buddies" whom you will live, train, and drill with on a daily basis.

Even though it is a challenging lifestyle that requires great sacrifice, it is both rewarding and fun as Aggie Band members get to experience many exciting things. Such things as marching on Kyle Field in front of a crowd of 85,000 Aggie fans, flying to away games, helping out at the Super Bowl events, and even marching in Presidential Inauguration parades. In addition, Aggie Band members can attend any A&M sporting event for free because of the time members sacrifice.
